T.nagar also known as” the shopping hub” of Chennai looked nothing like a shopping hub to me ,neither the first time i came across it nor any other time. Shopping areas especially “street shopping” can generally get a little overcrowded but t.nagar can’t just be described by that one word.

To me T.nagar appears to be a very ill planned street or rather not planned at all...everything there, the buildings, stalls, roads look as if they just occurred and as if they keep occurring. Driving through the streets seem almost impossible with the very badly planned roads, crazy traffic and crowded streets. Its almost literally “”street shopping “as the shopping stalls from either side keep increasing taking away a part of the road itself. All together shopping wouldn’t exactly be a fun experience if you plan to shop out there. T.nagar probably could still be “the shopping hub” of Chennai if a little effort is put in working out those roads and traffic!!
